My Personal Goals – Time To Get Back on Track

Man! It has been so long since I’ve blogged on this site. I’ve had many other blogs and I consistently post to them but I’ve done a horrible job at keeping up with this one. That’s about to change. It’s time to set some personal goals.  Wil Wheaton’s post has inspired me to put it out there so if you want to follow me or join me in my quest let me know.

Here are some of my personal goals for this next year:

1.) Get in The Best Shape of My Life.

Now I guess I should set S.M.A.R.T. goals so that it’s measurable and achievable so here it is.

-172lbs.

-8% Body Fat

-Visible six-pack (not the ones visible in my fridge right now)

2.) Create My Own Movie Shorts.

I’ve always loved being in movies but I have to get back to my true passion as well: Story Telling. Now I probably won’t make anything with high production value my first time around but I’d like to have at least 3 original shorts posted to my YouTube channel.

3.) Volunteer More

I’ve been busy lately with my Life Coaching Career, Acting, and my other endeavors (yes I like to keep my plate full… we only live once!) but I can’t let that be an excuse to get out and help in the community. I am particularly drawn and motivated to help the homeless. Donating money is good but not enough. I have to get out there and do some hands on work. So I’d like to volunteer at least twice a month in the community.

4.) Be More Social

I’m a quiet guy. I’m more of an observer and a homebody. That’s probably never going to change, and I’m cool with that, I love the person I am, but I do want to be a bit more social. There are some great people in the world despite what we all read on the Internet and see on TV. So I am going to make an effort to go to various social functions and try to meet new and interesting people.

5. ) Blog More

I blog almost every day on my other blogs but like I mentioned before, I don’t really blog about my own life and experiences. I want to do that more. So I’m going to blog on this site at least once a week from here on out. Even if it’s just nonsense. I apologize in advance.

I think that about covers it. My personal goals for the next year. I’m going to make it happen.
